EGIING PROGRAM rods have been designed to keep up with the ever growing list of squidding techniques. What was most sought out was high sensitivity in the blanks. This allows you to fully feel and sense the position of your lure and the lightest touch from any passing squid, with the lightest of line tension while still maintaining control to get the most out of your squid lure. This rod has been designed to keep aligned with new technology advances in squid fishing. Designed with length in mind, the 80 is easily long enough to perform the most technical twitching or jerking actions around the shallows bays and reefs. It also has a strong sensitive tip section that allows the angler total control over there jig whilst being able to feel the slightest touch from a wary squid. Made to be used with light PE line, this rod has been fitted with “LDB guides” drastically reducing the amount of line twist. With such ease of use, this rod lets anybody release the full potential of their squid jig.

This rod has been designed for casting ultra long distances when fishing from elevated platforms. Designed with moderate flexibility and an extremely smooth working curve incorporated into a two-piece rod. The LBD guides stop much of the line movement increasing the overall feel through the line making it much easier to feel the slightest touches. The OT84EG has been designed with a strong butt section that helps fatigue when fishing over long periods. This is a great all-round rod that can be used for a wide range of different techniques covering all manner of structures.

This rod has been designed for fast actions when delivering large #4 jigs to wary squid. Built with the same torque as the other rods in the series, the 82 makes for easy use when jerking, twitching, or gliding larger jigs.
